Welcome to Looking For The Light.com

This is a story of a Mechanical Designer who had a NDE [Near Death Experience] in 1973, his life after the NDE, and how his life was affected. Doug Jones is now in Hospice care living with COPD in Pebble Beach California. Doug wants to share with you what life is like living with COPD and some of the things he is doing to help make life a little easier. Some of his designs may help others who are also living with COPD. Doug writes an on-line diary and publishes daily knowing that life is at an end. He comments about many things on his mind, some theories on a few subjects, and works on feature pages in this website. Doug was admitted into Hospice on May 6, 2005 with an estimated life expectancy of two months. He keeps on going, full of energy, and has a high spirit while living a limited full life.

Please visit his gallery and see some of his finished work as well as some unfinished projects. Doug hopes that someone will like one of the Personal Projects enough to continue working on them. View his prototype models and read his descriptions. View the projects related to Living with COPD and projects he has made from hardware store items. His workmanship has decreased a little with his health so review them for functionallity.

There are a few pages still under construction. If your coming back to see if one has been updated, stop by his diary and read what he has been doing sense the last time you were here. If there is a page you want updated, send him an e-mail.
